All About Mia
My name is Mia Alcala and I want to be a kindergarten teacher! Although I am a student at the University of Arizona, I still have a lot of experience! I am currently a member of the Zeta Beta chapter of Chi Omega (go owls!) and in the past, I've worked at an elementary school working at an after school program for students. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, going shopping, playing The Sims 4, and watching TV in my bed! I also love traveling! I also love coffee and trying new restaurants. Traveling is another one of my passions! This past summer, I was lucky enough to study abroad in Spain! . You can take a look at my adventures here. Aside from my interests, I also love learning. I hope to enroll in an accelerated master's program in the upcoming years so that I will be able to have more experience running a SEL focused classroom. In the future, I would also like to get my PHD in Educational Psychology!
